Back in 2017, my inbox was flooded with messages from every self-proclaimed “Crypto guru” on the planet.

I kid you not. Every other day, someone would hit me up with the latest and greatest Bitcoin biz op, promising sky-high returns if I just hopped on the bandwagon. 

It felt like I was stuck in a late-night infomercial, except this time, it was about digital money mined by computers instead of some gadget that slices and dices tomatoes.

And to be fair… I was this close to diving in.

See, at the time, I’d been getting a lot of pressure to explore Crypto biz ops. 

Every list-building marketer I knew was jumping ship from email marketing to Bitcoin programs. They were raving about how easy it was to promote and how much cash was pouring in. It was like a feeding frenzy, and I could feel the FOMO creeping in.

I’d seen shiny objects before, and I knew better than to abandon a proven strategy for some hyped-up “next big thing.” 

So instead of jumping headfirst, I took a step back and decided to keep an eye on it.

And wouldn’t you know it—a lot of those “golden opportunities” disappeared faster than a vaporwave altcoin. The flashy promises fizzled out, and people who’d jumped on the Crypto biz op train ended up empty-handed.

Today, it’s a different story.

Bitcoin isn’t just for tech nerds and basement dwellers anymore. It’s a legitimate asset class. Wall Street’s buying in. Governments are paying attention. 

Heck, even your barber’s talking about it. And instead of being some risky niche, Crypto is slowly becoming a serious investment option.

So, what’s my take?

Back in 2017, I watched friends and colleagues gamble on Bitcoin programs and lose. 

Today, the stakes are even higher. It’s not about riding some biz op wave—it’s about understanding how to navigate a new financial landscape.

I remember it like it was yesterday—eight months into my online journey, barely scraping by, drowning in self-doubt, and wondering if I was just kidding myself.

Back then, I’d tried almost everything to “make it.”

Most of us are conditioned by our past failures to expect more of the same. 

When you’ve got years of feeling stuck, broke, or defeated, it’s hard to imagine things could change. And if you’re trying to build something from scratch, you’re probably thinking, “What if I’m just fooling myself? What if I’ll never make it?”

I felt like that every day.

But here’s the thing: successful people are usually self-fulfilling prophecies. 

They keep pushing forward, even when there’s zero proof it will pay off.
