FROM MY WORLD

The Igor Blanket

Did you know that most prospects forget about you within hours of signing up for your list?

That’s right—hours.

In today’s distraction-filled world, if you’re not in their inbox immediately, you might as well not exist.

That’s why, in my world, the magic starts the moment someone opts in. Within 10 minutes, they’ll receive at least three emails: one to confirm their subscription, another to tell them what’s coming next, and a third to deliver a gift.

This isn’t about overwhelming them—it’s about creating what I call the Igor Blanket—a cocoon of engagement designed to keep your new leads warm, connected, and invested.

Let me tell you why this works.

People forget fast. Life gets in the way. A dozen other marketers are already fighting for their attention. And trust me, they’re not waiting around to hear from you.

If you don’t reach out right away, someone else will—probably your competitor.

Now, some of you might worry about “emailing too much.” But let me share a little secret: people who complain about “too many emails” are often the same ones who end up buying.

I had one guy tell me I was “spamming” him. My reply? “Did you buy?” He admitted he did. Case closed.

And here’s another thing most marketers miss: not everyone is ready to buy immediately.

But that doesn’t mean they don’t want to hear from you. People stay on your list because they want to feel educated, empowered, and confident in their buying decision.

Your job is to build trust and keep the conversation going so that when the timing is right, they think of you first.

So, if you’re still on the fence about emailing aggressively, let me make it simple: don’t be polite with your email game.

Polite marketers get forgotten.

Show up often, deliver value, and build trust. Because in list building, the early bird doesn’t just get the worm—it owns the nest.

MINDSET MAKEOVER

The Jedi Mind Trick That Makes Selling Effortless

Imagine this: you’re selling your product, and your customer thanks you for letting them buy it—as if it was their brilliant idea all along. Sounds like magic, right?

It’s not magic. It’s extreme influence

And here’s the kicker: the most irresistible form of influence isn’t just about convincing someone to say “yes.” It’s about creating a situation where they’re so excited, they’re asking you to take their money—and believing it’s their idea.

Here’s how it works: People don’t buy products because they “make sense.”

They buy because of how those products make them feel. All buying decisions are emotional first, logical second.

So, if you want to sell like a master, you’ve got to target the emotional core. Show your audience how your product turns their pain into relief, their frustration into joy, and their doubt into confidence.

Now here’s a truth bomb that might sting a little: if you’re afraid to buy, you’ll always be afraid to sell.

Why? Because that fear telegraphs through everything you do. Every email, every pitch, every offer screams hesitation, and your prospects feel it.

The antidote? Start believing in what you’re selling so much that not offering it feels like a disservice to the world.

And the final touch? Infuse your marketing with the 3 Es:

  • Entertain: Grab their attention with humor, stories, or intrigue. Bored people don’t buy.

  • Educate: Show them you’re the expert, the guide they’ve been looking for.

  • Engage: Help them see themselves as the hero of their own story, with your product as the magic sword.

When you master these, you stop “selling” and start guiding your audience toward solutions they’re dying to embrace.

Extreme influence isn’t about manipulation; it’s about serving with conviction and confidence. You’re not just selling—you’re changing lives.
