FROM MY WORLD
A Japanese Tourist, a Failed Funnel, and You.
Did you know Paris has a special hotline for Japanese tourists?
No joke. They fly halfway across the world expecting romance, elegance, and croissants on silver trays. Then they land, see dirty streets, rude waiters, and suddenly—boom—total meltdown.
Some even need therapy to cope with the disappointment.
Crazy, right?
But here’s the kicker: I see the same thing happen in online business.
People buy into some hyped-up dream—passive income, laptop lifestyle, millions flowing in while they binge Netflix—and when reality smacks them in the face, they’re ready to dial their own version of that Paris hotline.
And if such a hotline existed for entrepreneurs, I imagine it’d go something like this:
“Press 1 if you joined an MLM and your friends blocked you on Facebook.”
“Press 2 if your solo ad didn’t make you a millionaire overnight.”
“Press 3 if you want to blame your traffic provider (hi, that’d be me).”
“And press 4 if you just need to cry because your funnel didn’t work the first time.”
Want the part nobody puts in the sales letter? Your first attempt is not supposed to work.
In fact, if it does work perfectly, you should be suspicious.
Because success in this game doesn’t come from pressing buttons on some magic software or joining the “perfect” opportunity, it comes from course corrections.
Like a homing missile, you don’t fly straight to the target. You miss, adjust, miss, adjust again… a thousand times… until you finally hit.
But most folks? They crash on attempt #1, call the hotline, and quit.
Don’t do that.
Don’t treat failure like a verdict. Treat it like a signal.
A nudge to adjust. A reason to keep going.
Paris may disappoint you. Gurus may scam you. Funnels may flop.
But if you stay in the game—long enough to make enough course corrections—success becomes inevitable.
So next time you feel like calling that hotline?
Hang up. Then get back to work.

MINDSET MAKEOVER
Don't Scroll Away Your Dissatisfaction
Let me say something that’ll rattle the self-help crowd:
The best thing that can happen to you… is to get sick and tired of your own life.
Not depressed. Not hopeless. Just flat-out done with mediocrity.
That’s what I call divine dissatisfaction.
It’s that sacred frustration that says: “Enough. I can’t keep living like this.”
And funny enough, that’s where all real success begins.
Nobody builds a thriving business from a place of comfort. Nobody says, “Life is perfect, let me add stress, rejection, and risk just for fun.”
No. Change happens when staying the same hurts more than stepping up.
That’s when creativity kicks in. That’s when you stop waiting, stop whining, and start taking bold action.
But here’s the trap: most people try to chase success while clinging to comfort. They avoid rejection. They avoid failure. They avoid doing the work that feels awkward.
And guess what? That avoidance keeps them stuck exactly where they are.
The winners? They lean into their dissatisfaction. They let it fuel the late nights, the tough conversations, the risks that scare them.
They don’t numb it. They don’t scroll it away. They use it.
So if you’re feeling restless, frustrated, or just plain fed up right now—good.
That’s not a curse. That’s the spark.
Lean into it. Because divine dissatisfaction isn’t a problem—it’s the ignition switch for everything you want.

CURATED READS
The Human Element by David Schonthal & Loran Nordgren
Want to know why most business ideas crash and burn?
Most don’t fail because they’re bad. They fail because people resist them.
And resistance, my friend, is a beast.
That’s what The Human Element dives into. It’s not another “rah-rah innovation” book. It’s a playbook for understanding the psychological brakes that stop people from saying yes.
Because let’s face it—your prospects aren’t sitting around waiting to whip out their credit card the second you launch. They’re skeptical. Distracted. Lazy. Afraid of change.
This book gives you the keys to cut through that resistance and make adoption feel natural instead of painful.
It’s basically like strapping a jet engine to your persuasion skills.
If you’ve ever felt frustrated that your “big idea” wasn’t landing—or that people said they loved it but still didn’t buy—this is your answer.
Ignore this book, and you’ll keep trying to brute-force your way through objections.
Read it, and you’ll learn how to make resistance work for you instead of against you.
