FROM MY WORLD

A Zombie Apocalypse

Your email list isn’t dead—but it sure isn’t alive either.

You get people to opt in. They should be prime prospects. But then… nothing.

No clicks. No responses. Just radio silence.

What happened?

Let me tell you a little story.

So there I was, at 3 AM, watching George Carlin stand-up on YouTube (because what else do you do at 3 AM?).

Then—BAM!—some guy in a rented Lambo pops up, bragging about how he’s turning every Facebook visitor into a $1,000 payday.

I click. I opt in. I get his “free” training. And then… I never open his emails.

Why? Because at 3 AM, I wasn’t seriously looking to fix a problem. I was just distracted. His ad caught my curiosity, but it wasn’t urgent enough for me to act.

Fast forward a few days, and my inbox is FLOODED with his emails. But the more they pile up, the less likely I am to open them.

Now I’m a zombie subscriber.

This happens ALL the time.

People think they want what you’re offering, but life gets in the way. They get distracted. They lose interest.

So how do you stop your list from turning into a graveyard of the undead?

  • Stay ultra-relevant. Talk about what’s happening in their life right now. When you describe their pain better than they can, they listen.

  • Create urgency. If they think they can "check it out later," they won’t. Tie your offer to an immediate problem.

  • Test your offer. If people don’t buy, it’s not just because of price. Try new angles. Find what makes them say, “I NEED this now.”

Most marketers build a list and think they’ve won. But the truth is, the real game is keeping that list engaged and responsive. Otherwise, you’re just collecting digital ghosts.

Now tell me—how many zombies are on YOUR list right now?

MINDSET MAKEOVER

Are You Desperate… or In Control?

At the start of my online business, I felt like a beggar.

Every pitch, every DM, every email I sent was dripping with desperation. I needed them to buy.

And guess what? That’s exactly why they didn’t.

People could smell my neediness from a mile away. And nothing repels buyers faster than a desperate marketer.

I thought I had to convince people to buy from me. I thought if I just had the perfect script, the best persuasion techniques, or the slickest rebuttals, I’d be able to force them into saying yes.

So I did what most struggling marketers do—I started studying persuasion, influence, even mind control and seduction techniques (yes, really).

I figured if I could just crack the code on how to make people want what I had, I’d finally start making money. But the harder I tried to convince, the harder they resisted.

The more I sold, the more they ignored me.

The more I pushed, the more they ran the other way.

Until one day, everything changed.

I had an accidental breakthrough while doing something called launch sniping—basically setting up small review sites that ranked for upcoming product launches.

It was the first time people came to me instead of me chasing them. And suddenly, I realized—I had been doing it all wrong.

Instead of convincing people to buy, I should have been positioning myself as someone who had the solution to a problem they already wanted to solve.

So I made a commitment: No more begging people to buy. No more trying to “educate” them into wanting my product and No more chasing.

Instead…

  • I only pitched my offers to people who were already interested.

  • I made it seem like I didn’t care whether they bought or not.

  • I positioned myself as the gatekeeper of an opportunity, not a desperate salesman trying to make a quick buck.

And you know what happened?

  • People started asking ME how they could buy.

  • I no longer had to “sell” them—they sold themselves.

  • My authority skyrocketed, and so did my income.

Here’s the truth: Your buyers need what you have more than you need their money.

The moment you start believing that—and acting like it—your sales process will become effortless.

So tell me—are you still chasing prospects… or are they chasing you?ow successful you used to be.

It only rewards those who evolve.

CURATED READS

TThe #1 Reason Entrepreneurs Struggle

Most people think starting a business is all about doing what you love. A baker opens a bakery. A graphic designer starts a design agency. A personal trainer launches a gym.

Sounds great, right? WRONG.

According to Michael Gerber, this is the biggest mistake new entrepreneurs make.

In The E-Myth Revisited, Gerber smashes the illusion that passion alone builds a business. He explains why most small businesses fail—and how to structure yours so that it runs without you.

The secret? Stop working in your business and start working on it.

If you’re tired of feeling like an overworked employee in your own company, this book will open your eyes to the real game of entrepreneurship.

Read it before your business turns into a full-time job you can’t escape.

RIDDLE ME THIS

Can You Crack The Code?

I speak without a mouth, yet I persuade with power.

I’m read by many but ignored by most.

When I’m sharp, I make money rain.

When I’m dull, I fall flat and fade.

What am I?

Think you've cracked the code? Reply to this email with your guess and see if you're right!

Last riddle was: I have keys but open no locks. I have space but no room. You can enter, but you can’t go outside… I am A Keyboard.
