FROM MY WORLD
Paris Syndrome for Profit
Let me ask you something…
Have you ever bought into a dream so big, so beautiful, so freakin’ perfect—only to have it crumble like a dollar-store deck chair the moment you sat on it?
Yeah? Good. You’re one of us.
When I first got into this whole “make money online” thing, I thought I hit the jackpot. Ten bucks a month, some .WS domain, a promise of passive income if I could just convince Uncle Bob and my cousin Vlad to join under me. GDI, they called it. Global Domains International.
It was supposed to be simple: recruit a few friends, they recruit a few friends, and suddenly I’m swimming in dollars like Scrooge McDuck.
Spoiler alert: I didn’t even make enough to cover my hosting.
I was sold a dream, and I bought it. Hard. And when reality smacked me in the face with a wet sock, I did what most people do—I got discouraged, embarrassed, even a little ashamed.
See, no one talks about this part.
No one tells you that the first time you try to build an online business, it’s probably gonna suck. That your expectations—fueled by hypey sales letters and “I made $10K in 3 days!” screenshots—are a setup for soul-level disappointment.
But here’s the twist: that disappointment? That crushing blow to your ego?
It’s the real beginning.
It’s the fork in the road where most people quit—and where the few who win double down.
I see it with my own clients all the time. They run their first solo ad campaign, don’t instantly make 6-figures, and suddenly they’re blaming me, blaming the list, blaming the universe.
But what they should be doing is adjusting their expectations.
Like a homing missile, success is all about constant course correction. You don’t get it right the first time. Or the second. Or even the tenth. You just keep moving, tweaking, learning—and eventually, you hit the target.
And don’t even get me started on the Paris Syndrome…
That’s a real thing, by the way. Japanese tourists get so hyped up about the romance of Paris that when they actually get there and see dirty streets and rude waiters, they literally have mental breakdowns. Some even off themselves.
That’s what most online businesses look like after you’ve bought the dream and walked into the reality.
The trick? Keep your expectations low and your hustle high.
Don’t marry the first girl you date.
Don’t expect your first campaign to print money.
And definitely don’t build your life around the fantasy in the VSL.
Keep going. Learn fast. Course correct. That’s how we play this game.

MINDSET MAKEOVER
When Ego Dies, Cash Thrives
Let’s cut through the fluff.
If you want to make money online—real money, not your cousin’s crypto winnings—you need more than a list, a funnel, or a traffic source.
You need certainty.
Not confidence. Not bravado. Not some “secret” strategy.
You need the kind of bone-deep, soul-shaking certainty that only comes from one place: being completely sold on yourself.
That’s what John Levine drilled into my brain like a metalhead with a Marshall stack. This guy didn’t stroll into success on velvet carpet. He crawled out of survival mode, through abusive homes and dead-end jobs, into a mindset so bulletproof it should be illegal.
And it started the moment he realized something: sales isn’t about persuasion—it’s about transferring your own damn enthusiasm to someone else.
That only happens when you believe what you’re selling. And more importantly, when you believe in yourself as the one selling it.
Here’s the uncomfortable truth: You’re probably more attached to how you look or sound than to actually making the damn sale. You care more about being right than getting rich.
And you’ve let the voice in your head—the one that says, “You’re not ready,” “You’re not good enough,” “You’re not like them”—run your business.
That’s what John calls “celebrity-ism.” It’s the velvet rope that says they belong on stage and you belong in the crowd.
It’s BS.
Want in? You don’t need permission.
You need practice, persistence, and a big, fat dose of non-attachment.
Because when your goal becomes bigger than your ego… when your actions stop depending on how you feel… and when you stop treating every failed video or email like a funeral, you start playing a whole new game.
The top 1% don’t do magical things. They just do the hard things consistently.
They make videos that bomb.
They send emails that flop.
They sell offers before they’ve made a dime.
They show up anyway.
So stop waiting to “feel ready.”
Get sold on your mission.
Get sold on your message.
And most of all, get sold on YOU.
That’s the mindset shift that turns amateurs into assassins.

CURATED READS
Green Book, Gritty Results: No Magic Required

Look, I don’t throw the word “essential” around lightly. But this little green book? It’s like the granddaddy of all money mindset books.
Published back in 1910—before the internet, before credit cards, hell, before most of us even had running water in every room—Wallace D. Wattles figured out a fundamental truth:
“To do things in a certain way, you must first think in a certain way.”
That “certain way”? It’s not some mystical woo-woo. It’s clarity, focus, and the complete absence of doubt. Not hope. Not hype. Certainty.
This book is where you learn to stop chasing and start attracting. Not because of magic. Because of cause and effect. Because when you start acting like someone who’s already rich (not just financially, but mentally), the results start showing up.
If you’re tired of spinning your wheels, if you want to build a business that actually works—and a mindset that can handle it—this is your foundation.
Read it. Highlight it. Tattoo it on your soul.
And remember: wealth doesn’t come to the smartest or the slickest. It comes to the most aligned, the most intentional, and the most committed.
