FROM MY WORLD

The 1-Email Method I Use To Kill 90% of My Own Ideas

Every week, someone pitches me “the next big idea.”
A new funnel hack. A crazy offer. A “can’t-fail” side hustle.

And you know what? 99% of those ideas die faster than a goldfish in a frat house.

Because ideas don’t make you money. Implementation does.

Here’s my system: whenever I get an idea, I email it to myself.
Subject line: short summary. Body: quick detail. Done.

That way it sits in my inbox, nagging me until I either:
a) act on it, or
b) delete it because if I haven’t touched it in 4 weeks, it probably wasn’t worth my time anyway.

Sounds harsh? Good. Because most ideas feel brilliant in the moment… but let them marinate, and they turn out to be about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

The trick isn’t keeping ideas. It’s moving fast on the right ones.
Book the flight before you talk yourself out of the vacation.
Send the message before you back out of that tough conversation.
Write the damn sales email before your brain tells you “maybe tomorrow.”

Top performers aren’t drowning in “maybe one days.”
They’re moving with urgency.
They’re allergic to waiting.
They don’t treat ideas like fragile babies—they treat them like racehorses: either you run them, or you put them down.

So here’s my challenge to you:
What’s the idea you’ve been sitting on? And what’s the first tiny step you can take today to put it into motion?

Because until you do that… it’s just another cheap idea cluttering your inbox.

MINDSET MAKEOVER

The "My Time is Non-Negotiable" Mindset

At some point in life, you realize this:
Being available to everyone means abandoning yourself.

The minute you stop dropping everything for other people’s drama, they’ll call you selfish.
And you know what? That’s usually the sign you’re finally on the right track.

Success demands boundaries. Not the kind you announce in a cheesy Instagram post, but the kind you enforce silently. The kind where texts go unanswered, calls go ignored, and invitations “slip through the cracks” — not because you’re rude, but because your energy is better invested in your goals, your family, your real priorities.

Let’s cut the crap… You don’t get to the next level by juggling everyone else’s emergencies. You get there by cutting the noise and focusing like a shark on what matters most.

But here’s where it gets interesting… motivation works differently for people. Some charge forward because they can see the goal so clearly that it pulls them like gravity. Others move only when the pain of standing still becomes unbearable. Either way works, but whichever camp you’re in, the question is:

If you had only five years left to live, what would immediately stop being worth your time?

That’s the stuff to cut. No apologies. No explanations. Just reclaim that energy and redirect it where it counts.

At first, you’ll feel guilty. Maybe even like a total jerk.
But then, the freedom kicks in. The focus sharpens. And suddenly you’ve got gas in the tank for the goals that actually matter.

Selfish? Maybe.
Effective? Absolutely.

CURATED READS

“Ready, Fire, Aim” by Michael Masterson

Most entrepreneurs choke on step one. They sit there, polishing their idea, fiddling with their logo, rewriting their mission statement… and never get around to actually building the damn business.

Michael Masterson blows that nonsense out of the water in Ready, Fire, Aim. His philosophy? Launch first, perfect later.

This book is like a reality check with a slap across the face. It lays out the stages of growing a business (from zero to $100 million) and tells you exactly where your focus should be at each stage. Spoiler alert: it’s not fancy branding or “finding your purpose.” It’s sales. Then more sales. Then systems to handle all those sales.

Why should you read it? Because it’s the antidote to overthinking. If you’ve been stuck in “ready, ready, ready” mode, this book will shove you into “fire, then aim” mode — where all the real money is made.
