“Any platform that controls your distribution controls your destiny. You may feel like you’re growing, but you’re growing on permission, not ownership.” — Ben Thompson

FROM MY WORLD
The Unsexy Asset That Bought Me My Freedom
I remember working at Burger King, cleaning trays covered in ketchup and mayo, already tired before my shift ended. I had a 40-minute commute ahead of me, and I wasn’t even thinking about the future anymore. I was just deciding what I hated more: the commute or the trays. I was broke, exhausted, and it all felt normal. Looking back, that was the worst part.
I did everything by the book. Good grades, military service, all the usual steps. But this is where I ended up. Nobody tells you that you can do everything right and still find yourself stuck in a situation that feels small and not worth the effort you put in.
Things didn’t change because of some big breakthrough or sudden confidence. I just noticed a pattern. I started watching people who made money online for years, not the loud ones or the ones chasing trends, but the quiet ones who kept going, year after year, steady and reliable.
They all did the same simple thing. They built email lists. Signup boxes, free offers, daily emails. They focused on owning their audience, not just getting exposure. So I stopped chasing new ideas and started building something that couldn’t be taken away by someone else’s decision.
Three years later, my first real paycheck showed up — about $1,200 a month — which doesn’t sound impressive until you remember it was enough to quit. Six months after that, it crossed $10,000 a month, and it never dropped below that line again. Years later, I moved countries, didn’t work for two full months, and watched my income stay exactly where it was, not because I was hustling, but because sending an email takes ten minutes and leverage doesn’t care where you are.
Here’s the truth most people avoid because it’s inconvenient.
Social media just lets you borrow attention. An email list gives you control. You control when you send, what you say, and whether your business survives the next algorithm mood swing.

MY GIFT FOR YOU
Happening in a Few Hours: The Traffic Source That Delivers 500+ Quality Leads Every Single Day
Most people are chasing free traffic that costs them thousands in wasted time and gets them nowhere.
I stopped doing that years ago.
Instead, I found a little-known automated traffic source that delivers 500+ quality leads per day at the push of a button.
It's 20X more profitable than Facebook or Instagram, and almost nobody is talking about it.
Today, January 15th at 9 PM EST, I'm showing you the complete 3-step system.
You'll see…
The exact traffic source I use to get 500+ quality leads a day
The one small tweak that lets me break even on virtually every campaign I run
And how to set this up so quality leads flow in on autopilot for any offer, product, or niche
This isn't for people looking for free traffic methods, but for people willing to take small calculated risks using the right source and strategy.
Just for showing up, you'll get my secret rolodex of quality traffic sources. These are the exact places I use to generate thousands of targeted visitors every day.

MINDSET MAKEOVER
The Problem With “Just Make More Money”
Most people say they want freedom, but what they really want is control. They just don’t like to admit it.
I’ve always needed control. Not the nice kind, but the kind where you avoid anything that can disappear overnight. That’s why I never liked Facebook ads or SEO. One policy change, one algorithm update, and all your work can be gone.
That’s not paranoia. That’s pattern recognition.
I grew up poor, and when you grow up watching money decide everything — where you live, what you tolerate, what you’re allowed to say no to — you learn something early. Complaints are loud. Control is quiet. And money, whether people like it or not, is one of the cleanest control tools we have in a modern world.
A lot of people get this wrong. They think control means never doing things you don’t like. That’s not how it works. I do things I don’t enjoy every day. If I didn’t, I’d just waste time. Control isn’t about doing whatever you want. It’s about being able to say yes when it matters, and no when it counts.
The mistake is thinking more money will fix everything. I went from making $100 a day to $1,000 a day, but I still didn’t feel right. The money grew faster than I could adjust, so I was richer but not more stable. That messes with you.
Here’s the real rule.
Control comes from owning assets that don’t ask for permission to keep paying you.
Not platforms. Not trends. Not traffic you don’t own. Only things that last.
So ask yourself a tough question today.
What part of your income could disappear without warning — and why are you still okay with that?

FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE
Attract, Build, Convert: The Creator’s Roadmap to $1M in Sales with Matt Giaro
This episode started with a mistake that cost $7,000 — and ended up unlocking a much bigger idea about list growth that most people still miss.
I talked with Matt Giaro, who built a seven-figure education business quietly, without being loud or stuck on social media. We talked about something most people ignore: platforms can change the rules at any time. Strategies can die overnight. We’ve both seen it happen.
This conversation was practical. We talked about building lists with buyers, not just audiences, why daily emails build trust, and how Matt got 500 new subscribers in one day without chasing content. No hype, just systems that work and last.
If you’re tired of chasing quick wins and want something that grows over time, this episode is for you. It might make you rethink what you call a business.

CURATED READS
Thinking in Bets by Annie Duke
This book hit me because it separates good decisions from good outcomes, which most people confuse constantly. You can do the right thing and still lose. You can do something dumb and get rewarded. And if you don’t learn the difference, you end up trusting luck instead of judgment.
What makes it useful right now is how many people treat business like certainty exists. It doesn’t. You’re always betting — on platforms, offers, partners, timing — whether you admit it or not. Duke forces you to think in probabilities, not emotions, which is exactly how you stop blaming the world and start upgrading your decisions.
Read it if you’re tired of asking, “Why didn’t this work?” It teaches you to ask a better question: “Was this a smart bet in the first place?”
