"A small list that wants exactly what you’re offering is better than a bigger list that isn’t committed" – S. Ramsay Leimenstoll

FROM MY WORLD

Three Years Without a Single Sale?

Someone once asked me a question that made me laugh.

How do you go three and a half years without making a sale… and not quit?

That number still surprises people. Three and a half years. No sales, no proof, no screenshots. Just me sitting late at night behind a laptop, staring at squeeze pages, autoresponders, and dashboards, trying to figure out what I was missing.

My dad thought I had completely lost my mind. From his point of view I was wasting years chasing some weird internet dream while making exactly zero dollars. And if I’m honest, at the time it looked that way to me too.

Back then I believed something that keeps a lot of beginners stuck: you can’t sell if you don’t have proof.

Everywhere I looked, the successful marketers were flashing screenshots and testimonials. Bank balances. ClickBank accounts. Videos of them logging into their dashboards. The message seemed obvious β€” people buy proof.

And since I had none… I felt like I had no right to sell.

So instead of putting offers in front of people, I hid behind the technical side of the business. I learned Aweber inside out. I mastered GetResponse. I tweaked landing pages, tracking systems, and Google Analytics like a technician working in a lab.

But none of that made money.

The real problem was that I avoided the moment that scared me the most β€” the moment someone would ask the uncomfortable question.

β€œHow much money have you made with this?”

For a long time I thought that question was the barrier. Looking back now, I realize something else entirely was holding me back.

People don’t buy proof. They buy presence.

Everything changed when I started showing up instead of hiding. I began interviewing experts, publishing conversations, sharing ideas, and saying things that most marketers were too afraid to say. Suddenly I wasn’t invisible anymore, and once people start seeing you consistently, curiosity begins to replace skepticism.

Eventually the first sale came. Then another. Then momentum.

If there’s one lesson I wish someone had drilled into my head back then, it’s this:

Waiting until you feel credible is the fastest way to stay broke.

So here’s a challenge for you.

Start showing up consistently for your email list. Share what you’re learning, share what you’re testing, and don’t wait until you feel like an expert before speaking up.

Because the people who win in this business aren’t always the most proven. They’re the ones who refuse to stay invisible.

THE INSIDER DEAL

We Are Live: Simple β€œNo-selling” Profit System Replacing Affiliates and Amazon

There's a common misconception that to profit online, you need to sell.

You've probably tried dropshipping, FBA, and even affiliate marketing, and they all came down to that same idea that stops most beginners - selling.

But there's a new "no-selling profit system" that's slowly replacing all those methods.

My friend Chris spent $43,000 investigating every major make-money-online method being taught today. He wanted to see what was actually working in 2026.

And he’s found that these old methods are being replaced because traffic costs have doubled, ad account bans are happening at triple the rate, and conversion rates keep dropping.

But that’s why Chris and other top marketers are moving on…

To a simple system where Fortune 500 companies pay beginners $1,000 to $5,000+ per day without requiring any selling.

His students have generated over $364 million online, and now it’s your turn.

Right now, we’re hosting a free training showing exactly what this system is and how to get started, even if you've failed at everything else.

MINDSET MAKEOVER

Stop Asking the Market for Permission

One of the biggest mistakes beginners make in business is invisible, but once you see it you start noticing it everywhere. They ask the market for permission. You hear it in the way they write emails, the way they pitch their offer, even the way they talk about their product. The tone sounds apologetic, almost like they’re hoping the prospect will allow them to succeed. And the market can smell that instantly, because desperation changes the entire dynamic of a sales conversation.

The moment you start trying to win someone’s approval, you’ve already placed them on a pedestal and put yourself beneath them. From that position it becomes incredibly difficult to sell anything. People don’t follow someone who looks like they’re asking for validation. They follow someone who shows up with conviction, someone who believes their ideas are worth hearing and their solution is worth considering. Authority begins the moment you stop chasing approval.

Once you make that shift, the entire interaction changes. Instead of trying to convince people to work with you, you begin acting like someone who is deciding whether a prospect is worth your time. That’s why experienced marketers put small barriers between themselves and their customers β€” applications, filters, or simple steps that require the prospect to lean forward instead of passively browsing. By the time someone actually reaches you, they’re already invested.

And something interesting happens when you operate this way. People comply. They read your emails more carefully. They follow your instructions more closely. They treat the opportunity seriously because they had to step forward to reach it.

So here’s a question worth asking yourself today: are you showing up as someone seeking approval… or as someone whose ideas are worth paying attention to?

Hollywood’s Secret Marketing Weapon With Michael Hague

Most marketers obsess over tactics β€” headlines, funnels, subject lines, and split tests. But underneath all of that sits something far more powerful: story.

In this podcast episode, I sat down with Michael Hague, a Hollywood story consultant who has worked with major filmmakers and taught storytelling to more than 70,000 people worldwide. What struck me during our conversation was how directly Hollywood storytelling principles apply to marketing.

Michael explained that the real purpose of a story isn’t entertainment β€” it’s emotion. When someone hears about a person solving a problem, they mentally step into that character’s shoes and experience the journey themselves.

We also unpacked a simple six-step framework for telling better stories in emails and marketing. No fancy writing required β€” just a clear problem, a journey, and a result your reader cares about.

If you want your emails to connect on a deeper level, this is an episode worth hearing.

Launch by Jeff Walker

This is one of the books that quietly changed how I think about selling online.

Before I discovered Jeff Walker’s work, most launches I saw felt aggressive β€” big hype, big promises, and a lot of pressure. Jeff showed a completely different way to approach it. Instead of pushing an offer on people, you warm them up with valuable content, build anticipation, and let curiosity do most of the heavy lifting.

What really struck me is how simple the idea is once you see it. You give people a sequence of helpful insights first, you get them invested in the journey, and by the time the offer appears they already understand why it matters.

It’s less like a sales pitch and more like guiding someone toward a decision they were already leaning toward.

If you’ve ever wondered how some marketers generate massive excitement before a product even opens for sale, this book will show you exactly what’s happening behind the scenes.
