FROM MY WORLD
The Day I Almost Chickened Out of My Webinar
Ever mentored someone who says they want to change—but acts like success is a contagious disease they’d rather not catch?
I have—too many times.
I used to charge a small fortune for 1-on-1 coaching. People begged me to take their money and guide them. They swore up and down they were “serious.” And yet, give them one simple task—a landing page, an email, something they could knock out in under an hour—and a week later, nothing. Nada. Zilch.
Their excuse?
“I didn’t have time.”
Seriously? You had time to scroll through TikTok, time to binge Netflix, time to get lost in your inbox like it’s Narnia—but not 45 minutes to build a page that could start changing your life?
Let’s call this what it is: a lie.
But not just a regular lie. This is the lie. The one you tell yourself to stay in the warm, smelly comfort zone of your current life. The life you say you want to escape, but secretly… cling to.
Why?
Because change feels like death. Not literal death, but ego death. You have to stop being who you are to become who you want to be. And that’s uncomfortable. That’s scary. That’s why people ghost on progress—they’d rather complain about their job than actually ask the boss for one extra hour in the morning to build their dream.
I had a student once swear on his dog’s grave he’d talk to his boss and negotiate a later start time. Three weeks and seven excuses later—I still hadn’t done it.
Why?
Because it's easier to say “I’m serious” than to be serious.
So here’s the challenge: if you're not making time for what matters, it’s not a time issue. It’s a truth issue.
You’re lying to yourself.
Stop saying you want success if you're unwilling to act like it. Your goals aren't waiting for "the right time."
They're waiting for you to stop bullsh*tting.

MINDSET MAKEOVER
Time to Undress the Circus
Let me tell you a truth most people choke on:
Entrepreneurship is personal development in disguise. You think you’re building a funnel?
Cool. You think you’re learning traffic or copy, or webinars? Great. But really, you’re about to get slapped in the face by your own ego.
When I got into this game, I thought I’d learn how to write better sales copy and get rich. Instead? I got a crash course in “Why Igor’s Beliefs Suck and How to Kill Them.” Turns out the hardest part of this business isn’t traffic. It’s not leads. It’s not even converting sales. It’s you.
More specifically, it’s the version of you that still thinks it’s okay to blame your team, your platform, your niche, your mentor, or the damn moon cycle for why things aren’t working. That victim mentality? It’s poison. And it doesn’t go away just because you slap “CEO” in your Instagram bio. You’ve gotta grow the hell up.
You’ve gotta take extreme ownership, like Jocko on a triple espresso. Because in your business, every result (or lack of it) traces back to you. And the best part? Your business will hold up a mirror to your crap beliefs and lazy habits until you either evolve… or crash and burn. I’ve had to kill parts of myself to grow this thing. Old habits.
Old ways of thinking. Old Igor, who used to whine about email deliverability instead of fixing his strategy. And it doesn’t just happen in business. When my daughter started getting bullied at school, I wanted to scream at the teachers, switch schools, and blame the system. But then I saw her ignore a kid who was trying to be her friend. Just straight up ice-cold rejection.
I thought, “No wonder the other kids don’t like you.” Harsh?
Maybe. True? Definitely. So I coached her to change her behavior—and guess what? Her experience changed. The same rule applies in your business. If you keep running into the same wall, maybe it’s not the wall—it’s how you walk. If you want new results, you have to become a new version of yourself.
That next level you’re dreaming of? Algorithms, ads, or autoresponders do not block it.
It’s blocked by the person you’re still willing to be.

FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE
Designing a Life You Don’t Need a Vacation From With Craig Ballantyne
In this episode, I’m joined by the “World’s Most Disciplined Man,” Craig Ballantyne, a performance coach, bestselling author, and the guy who’s helped thousands of entrepreneurs cut through the noise and take back control of their lives.
Craig is here to flip the script on everything you think you know about discipline, productivity, and focus. We dig into why most people stay stuck, even when they’re grinding hard. From chasing trends to falling for distraction traps, Craig breaks down how we lose sight of what truly matters and how to get it back. He offers a new lens on what real success and freedom actually look like.
If you’re tired of doing “all the right things” and still feeling stuck, this is mentorship at its finest, and you won’t want to miss it.

CURATED READS
"The Laws of Human Nature" by Robert Greene
This isn’t just a book—it’s a time-tested playbook for getting people to like you, trust you, and do what you want... without being a manipulative creep.
Carnegie cracked the code back in 1936, and guess what? Human nature hasn’t changed. People still want to feel important. They still respond better to honey than vinegar. And they’re still more likely to buy from someone they like.
Whether you're trying to sell a product, land a JV deal, or just get your spouse to pick a restaurant without a 45-minute debate—this book gives you the tools.
But here's the real kicker: most marketers think they’re good with people. This book shows you just how much you're leaving on the table by not understanding the psychology behind influence.
Read this, and suddenly the phrase “he’s just a people person” will sound like an insult compared to what you become.
