You Can’t Sell a Lambo on Craigslist
What’s $3.99 Worth to You?
The 'Glorified eBook' Secret
Trump-Tested Hacks For Building a Big, Beautiful Business with Jack Turk
“Growth: A Reckoning” by Daniel Susskind

FROM MY WORLD
You Can’t Sell a Lambo on Craigslist
So you’ve got a high-ticket offer you wanna sell. Maybe it’s $5K, $10K, hell—maybe even $25K. You’re pumped. You slap up a slick landing page. Write some juicy copy. Hit “Publish.” And then…
Crickets.
Nada. Zip. Zilch. Like, your offer's got garlic breath and people are vampires.
That’s when the panic sets in. “Is my price too high? Is my funnel broken? Maybe I should slash the price down to $997 and throw in some PDFs no one will read…”
Stop right there. You’re not doing anything wrong—yet. You’re just trying to sell a steak to a vegan… in the wrong room.
Let me break it down.
Selling high-ticket stuff (think $2K–$10K) ain’t the same game as selling ultra-high-ticket ($20K+). When you’re pushing five figures or more, you can’t just send people to a page and hope they click “Buy Now.” Not unless your name rhymes with “Lony Dobkins.”
You need levels.
You need intimacy.
You need trust.
I’ve got a buddy in real estate who pulls off the smoothest sales staircase I’ve ever seen:
Webinar for the high-ticket stuff
Phone call for the mid-five-figure deal
Live seminar for the $50,000+ packages
And it works because in industries like real estate, people EXPECT to drop $50K like it's a gym membership.
But you? Unless your brand is dripping in luxury vibes, you need to earn the right to ask for big bucks. That means building a relationship first. That means letting your people warm up to you before hitting them with a five-figure pitch.
And here’s the real kicker: It’s not about the price—it’s about the contrast.
Want to make your $2K offer feel like a steal? Flash a $50K package in the background. Doesn’t even have to be real. Just has to be there—on your site, in your content, somewhere people can see it.
People compare what you’re offering to whatever else they’ve seen. So if the first thing they see is “$100,000 VIP Day,” your $1,997 group coaching suddenly feels like a bargain.
Crazy? Maybe.
Effective? Absolutely.
And remember, this ain’t Tiffany’s. You’re not selling diamonds to people who walked in expecting to drop cash. You have to build the expectation. That takes time. Trust. Reps.
So the next time you wonder why your ultra-premium offer is tanking, ask yourself:
“Did I walk into the room cold… or did I warm them up first?”

MY GIFT FOR YOU
What’s $3.99 Worth to You?
There’s a window in every online entrepreneur’s life where they ask:
“Why the hell am I working so hard… and still not making real money?”
I hit that wall years ago. Then I built something that flipped the script.
I wrote this short book to show you exactly what I did — the system I still use today to turn emails into income, without chasing trends or dancing for clicks.
And yeah — it costs less than gas to get to work.
But don’t let the price fool you.
This isn’t a book you buy. It’s a fork in the road.

MINDSET MAKEOVER
The 'Glorified eBook' Secret
Ever feel like your income is balanced on a tightrope… held by someone else?
Yeah, I’ve been there too.
See, when I was still deep in the affiliate game—racking up a couple grand a month—it felt good… until it didn’t. I was hustling hard, but I couldn’t shake this creeping anxiety. Like, what if the offer tanked? What if the vendor vanished? What if my affiliate program decided to “update their terms” (aka screw me)?
That’s when it hit me like a flying toaster: I didn’t own sh*t.
No control. No leverage. No peace of mind.
So I said screw it. Time to build my own product.
Now don’t romanticize this part. My first product? It was a glorified eBook. I started selling it for a buck. Not even enough to cover a Starbucks drip.
But that $1 turned into $5… then $10… and eventually $37.
And here’s where the mindset shift happened: owning a product gave me power.
Suddenly, I wasn’t just another guy promoting someone else’s dream. I was the guy with the dream. The asset. The control. And with that control came something I hadn’t felt in years:
Relief.
Even with a teeny-tiny list of 250 buyers, I landed a JV that brought in 60 new customers overnight—without spending a dime.
Why? Because I had something of value. Something that was mine.
That deal didn’t happen because I begged or bribed. It happened because I could say, “Here’s my product. Let’s trade.” And when my new partner mailed his list, sales rolled in like I was the damn Beatles.
All because I had an asset.
And here’s the kicker: when you’ve got your own stuff, the doors open. Not just one—but a hallway of them. JV deals. Recurring revenue. Pricing freedom. Fix-it-when-it-breaks control.
No more waiting for crumbs from someone else’s table.
So if you’re still stuck in “affiliate-only” mode, hear me loud and clear:
You don’t need to wait for permission to take control.
Make your own offer. Own your slice of the digital pie. Start small. Start messy. Just start.
Because nothing—and I mean nothing—feels better than waking up knowing the money’s already coming in… and it’s all because of something you built.

CURATED READS
“Growth: A Reckoning” by Daniel Susskind
This book is not your average “rah-rah hustle harder” business read.
Daniel Susskind takes a sledgehammer to the sacred cow of economic growth—and if you’re an entrepreneur, marketer, or just someone who likes making money without wrecking the world, you need to read this.
Here’s the deal: growth has been the golden goose for decades. But what happens when the goose gets tired, bloated, and starts pooping more problems than profits?
Susskind dives deep into why endless growth might be a trap, how tech is flipping the table on traditional economics, and what it means for people like us—the independents, the creators, the freedom junkies.
But don’t worry—it’s not all doom and gloom. He also talks about smarter, saner ways to grow—ways that don’t involve burning out your brain, your list, or the planet.
This book doesn’t hand you tactics—it hands you a lens. One that could help you future-proof your business and your bank account in a world that’s changing faster than your TikTok feed.
Highly recommended if you’re ready to challenge how you think about success.
